Made with power fishing in mind the new 150 sits in between the Tatula CT/Tatula 100 (100 size) and the Tatula HD (200 size) in the Tatula line-up and is tailor-made for those looking for a midsized baitcaster workhorse. Baitcaster brilliance starts with Daiwa's Real Four design concept, with Real Engine, Real Control, Real Endurance, and Real Custom combining to make the Tatula 150 technically advanced and performance driven.

A precision designed solid aluminium frame and gear side plate deliver maximum power and unrivalled durability, while its ergonomically designed profile fits effortlessly in the palm of the hand. Housed within the rock-solid frame is Daiwa's famous Digigear gear system. Daiwa's first generation of digitally engineered gear design ensures a perfect mesh between the ultra-tough brass drive gear and pinion gear for optimised speed, power, durability and smoothness.

The Tatula 150's outstanding casting performance is driven by Daiwa's innovative T-Wing System (TWS), with the pivoting t-shaped line guide delivering unparalleled casting performance and line control. Magforce Z provides supreme casting control, with its twenty-increment magnetic cast control dial delivering more precision and control than ever before. Fitted with a deep, large capacity aircraft grade aluminium spool that can hold a tonne of line, the Tatula 150 spool also works seamlessly with TWS to reduce line angle and friction, and improve overall casting performance.

A technology that makes cranking the handle effortless, Air Rotation is as light as air, and as smooth as silk, and has to be seen, or more to the point, felt to be believed. • Magforce Z - The next generation of Daiwa’s magnetic anti-backlash system like Magforce V before it combines the best aspects of modern magnetic and centrifugal breaking, albeit with some slight differences. Unlike Magforce V magnetic braking is only applied at maximum spool speed, as a result it allows the spool to reach a higher peak speed and allows it to spin for longer. Magforce Z is considered to be best suited to longer casting pursuits and heavier weights.
• T-Wing System - Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle, minimal friction and constriction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.
• Ultimate Tournament Drag - A system that combines ultra smooth low inertia with ultimate fish stopping power. UTD combines advanced carbon washers, alloy and stainless steel drag plates with specially designed grease for ultra-smooth performance.
• Zero Adjuster - Thanks to the revolutionary SV-Concept, it is no longer necessary to adjust the Mechanical Spool Brake Knob when casting. Perfect Zero Adjuster setting is when the spool shaft is held without side to side spool play. Appropriate brake power adjustment is now fully manageable with only the use of the Magnetic dial.
