Penn Slammer III Spin Reel

The Penn Slammer III was awarded the 2016 AFTA 'best new saltwater reel' prize, and with good reason. Built specifically for heavy-duty fishing off rocks and boats, the Slammer III reels are made with a full metal body, side plate and rotor, to ensure they have optimal strength and can take solid hits with minimal damage.

The reels also come with an IPX6 water resistance rating, a high standard of resistance that allows the reels to be used in the rain and cop a beating from heavy wash. This doesn't mean that they're immersible though, so don't go showing off your new 'waterproof' reel to your mates, not unless you want to use it again that is. But spray copped on the way back from an offshore fish however bad it may be will be washed away with no worries!

The Penn Slammer III reels utilise a sealed Slammer drag system that also contains the Dura-Drag material, so it's strong, reliable and also very durable.
