The Jackson RA Pop is a great all-rounder surface popper, with a profile that's small enough to entice whiting and small perch, but large enough to lure in big flathead from the shallows.
The beauty of the RA Pop's design is in the face of it. It has quite a large half-circle cup face and the gills actually extend downwards to act as 'fins' that hold the lure in the water and tracking straight when you give it a good pop.
The RA Pop also sits tail down in the water to better imitate a fleeing prawn or yabbie when a constant retrieve is used up on the flats or in shallow waters.
Mangrove jack, barra, sooty grunter, jungle perch, flathead, bream and whiting are among the main target species of this versatile, small profile popper. From the skinny waters up the northern parts of Australia to the shallows of the lakes down south, the Jackson RA Pop is a great topwater option.
