The Baitrunner D is the premier series of the famous Baitrunner collection, boasting the best features of previous Baitrunner reels, combined with cutting-edge spin reel technology.

- Secondary drag system – Allows the main drag to be disengaged with the flip of a lever and enables free spooling with the bail closed.
- Propulsion® Line Management System – Incorporates a special lip design on the spool that allows the line to flow smoothly off of the spool during a cast.
- Vari-Speed® oscillation (Aero on 12,000) – The oval-shaped oscillation gear produces an even spool speed.
- Cold-forged aluminium spool
