BUKU wind-on leaders are attached with a quick and super strong ?oop to loop?connection system. Wind-on leaders are fantastic for game fishing. These special leaders allow for a smooth wind in through the guides for easier handling and release of fish. IGFA - Leader Length is measured from the connection point (loop) to the bend of the last hook. IGFA - Saltwater over 10kg* - max length of leader is 30 feet. Saltwater 10kg* and under - max length is 15 feet. IGFA - Freshwater all classes - max length 15 feet. * Refers to the test strength of angler? main line, not leader. Please note: If using a double to connect to the leader different measurements apply. Refer to IGFA rules for total length of leader, double and rig combined.
