The Jackson Kaiken Poppers were built due to the success of the stick bait version and the need for a topwater Kaiken. Japanese designed, these poppers can be cast into bait balls and feeding frenzies, off the rocks, or along shallow reefs to excite a range of hard fighting fish species.
They sit in the water at an angle due to their rear-weighted design like most other poppers on the market to help with the hookup rate and increase the casting distance. The large cupped face on the Jackson Kaiken Popper then provides maximum water displacement on the retrieve, driving bluewater and reef species crazy.
Constructed with a single strand of wire that runs through the bottom, the Kaiken Poppers are extremely strong and built to handle even the hardest fighting species like kingfish, tuna, GTs, spanish mackerel etc. Because of its low position in the lure, the wire keeps the popper balanced and upright at all times.
The Jackson Kaiken Poppers are constructed with a honeycomb-like internal structure to increase strength and resist the powerful bites of the bigger pelagic fish.
