Reef sinkers are preferred when bulk weight is required to reach the seabed in deep water or strong currents. The sleek shape cuts through the water on the drop, avoiding flutter, so your baits land where you want them to. The line runs through the centre of reef sinkers so they can be set up as a running sinker, or fixed to your line for a paternoster (dropper) style rig, making them more versatile than top-tied heavyweight sinkers.
