Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Tackle World, hereafter referred to as “the Promoter.”
Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 16 years or older. Proof of age and residency may be required. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter or any Tackle World store are ineligible to enter.
Entry Period
The competition begins on 2 December 2024 and ends on 31 December 2024 at 11:59 PM AEST.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Spend at least AUD $100 at any Tackle World store across Australia during the competition period.
- Upload a clear photo of the purchase receipt, including store details and product information, to the official entry page HERE.
Each valid receipt entitles the participant to one (1) entry. Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry must be accompanied by a unique receipt. Duplicate entries using the same receipt will be disqualified.
Prize
The prize pool includes:
- 42 major prize fishing tackle packs, each valued at AUD $12,000.
Total prize value: AUD $512,000. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other products. Given the prize size, customers are required to collect their prize from the store of purchase or arrange their own shipping.
Draw and Winner Notification
One (1) winner per participating store will be announced within 7 days of the competition ending. Winners will be notified via Tackle World's official channels and respective local stores. If a winner does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, a re-draw will take place.
Prize Conditions
The winner is responsible for organising any necessary licenses or permits required to use the prize. The prize must be collected by the winner from their nearest Tackle World store or an alternate location agreed upon with the Promoter. If the winner cannot collect the prize and requires shipping, they are responsible for any freight charges.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for one of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable for any reason.
Receipt Validation
Entries will be deemed invalid if the receipt provided is unclear, incomplete, or does not match the required purchase of AUD $100 at Tackle World. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
Limitation of Liability
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Privacy
Entrants' personal information will be collected, used, and disclosed by the Promoter in accordance with its privacy policy for the purpose of administering this promotion and for marketing purposes.
General
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
