Meet the Team

  • Nina

    Nina has been part of The Lure Shop Cooktown crew for over three years and is passionate about everything outdoors!

    From fishing and spearing to bowhunting and camping. Growing up fishing, she now spends her days helping others experience the same thrill, whether they’re seasoned anglers or just starting out.

    Based right on the doorstep of Cape York, Nina reckons chasing barra is the way of life up here. It’s her favourite target species and she’s got loads of local knowledge to share. One of her proudest moments was landing her first metre barra at Princess Charlotte Bay which is her ultimate fishing destination.
